When we give ourselves permission to rest and make space, we fine-tune our innate ability to heal ourselves – physically, mentally and emotionally.

We remember how to listen to what our body is trying to tell us.

And if we choose to respond to what we hear, we can start a process of transformation that will affect every level of our life and every level of our being.

Of course, as with everything in life, we can only do this one step at a time.

Sometimes your step may be metaphorical – a transformative shift in perception, experienced from the safety of the hypnotherapy chair.

Sometimes we will literally be stepping forward together, rediscovering the springy, rhythmic walk and aligned, natural posture that our skeletal structure craves, through the practical and enjoyable processes of the Bones For Life® programme.

Sometimes ‘one small step’ is all that’s possible – or indeed needed – today… at other times you find (perhaps to your own surprise) that you’re ready for a ‘giant leap’!

And sometimes you may feel you’re taking a sideways step, as you remind yourself of the importance of making space simply to stop and rest.

I’m Helen Davis, founder of One Step Forward.

My life changed dramatically over a decade ago when I experienced first hand the reality of burnout and chronic illness. And I’m now passionate about sharing what I’ve learned to help others make the changes they need to make, to create the life they long to live.

From my base in Petersfield, close to the Hampshire/West Sussex border, in the heart of the South Downs, I help people do what they need to do to make space – physically, mentally and emotionally.
