Testimonials – Bones For Life

I feel so relieved that there is something other than weight training which I can’t do … I’m not worrying now, I’m doing something [for my bones] and am feeling so positive. It’s made such a difference!

As a scientist, I loved understanding the science behind the program and seeing the proof that change [in my posture] really is possible.

Christine

Beautifully put together.

Sharon

I am really enjoying the program. I can see how it will be helpful. It is very easy to follow and I like the fact I can repeat a video. It is a brilliant course and you are a fab teacher, thank you.

Harriet

I really like the way you [present] the Introduction course. It makes it easy to go back over a particular bit to understand and work through and recheck. Having no time or being interrupted stops being an issue and [it’s easy] to make it part of my every day life. It really is a brilliant course. Extremely accessible. I can’t think of any excuse not to be able to do it!

Frauke

Since starting the course I have started pulling my shoulders back when driving the car and sitting at the computer as well as when doing my daily walks. That feels good.

Diana

It feels good all round. My body feels more relaxed.

Nicky

I feel like my body knows this already. It’s as if it’s saying ‘finally, this is better!’ I was in the cinema the other day and sitting uncomfortably. I aligned my neck [using a Bones for Life process] and immediately felt that it was such a better way to watch the film!

Queenie

I didn’t realise that I had a bad knee to start with, but I could definitely feel a difference [between the two] when we tested them at the start and I couldn’t feel that discomfort when we’d done the exercise.

Rosie

I went through the menopause early, at 46. So I understood very early on that bone health is really important [and] that building bone strength was key. So when this course came up, I knew that this was something that was going to make sense. I would thoroughly recommend it […] the movements you do are very subtle, very gentle, but they are powerful […] and long term. And it’s clear in my mind that if I [can] keep up the very good work of doing very simple movements [that] are very easy to incorporate into your day, I know that my bones will go from strength to strength. Good luck!

Dee

I love doing the Bones for Life course. It was so much fun and so educational. I’ve learned how to realign my posture while standing, while walking, while getting up and down. It was really informative […] Having a diagnosis of osteoporosis can be scary, but it kind of took all of the fears out of it, especially because [Helen’s] created this amazing self hypnosis tape, which [is] so empowering and really helps you reprogram your mind. […] So you’ve got this kind of multi disciplinary course, which is just brilliant and really worth every penny. I’m so glad I did it.

Kim

This is a fabulous course. Well worth it and at £99 it really is an absolute steal!

Dee

I don’t always understand how some of the processes can help my bones but I noticed a huge difference on my stability on holiday, while climbing on and off boats, climbing up steep wet steps and clambering through caves. I […] felt so much more confident […] my feet felt stronger and stable. I definitely want to do another course.

I really enjoyed [the Bones for Life workshop] […] It was so beneficial coming in person and seeing it all ‘for real’. You were very professional and spoke with such enthusiasm and also sharing your own journey made things resonate more. I would definitely recommend it to others. I found the sharing of stories helpful too and left feeling very positive.

Queenie

Your talk to the Osteoporosis Society on Monday was brilliant really empowering!

Linda

Helen is an excellent teacher and we spent a happy day dispelling myths and discovering ‘biological optimism.’ Wholeheartedly recommended.
